| Synoptic Situation | The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak, Hardoi, Varanasi, Ranchi, Sagar Island and thence southeastwards towards Northwest Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. The trough from North Bihar to Northwest Bay of Bengal across Jharkhand and Gangetic west Bengal between 1.5 & 3.1 Km above mean sea level persists. Southwest Monsoon Moderate over North Bay of Bengal, Central Bay of Bengal & South Bay of Bengal; Weak to Moderate over Andaman Sea. |
