| Synoptic Situation | The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Odisha West Bengal coasts persisted over the same region at 1430 hrs IST of today, 04th July, 2026. The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 9.4 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height. It is very likely to move west-northwestward across north Odisha and north Chhattisgarh during next 3 days. The seasonal trough at mean sea level from southwest Rajasthan to the centre of Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Odisha-West Bengal coasts across Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh, north Odisha extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists. Southwest Monsoon Moderate to Strong over Westcentral & NorthWest Bay of Bengal; Moderate over Northwest, Eastcentral, South Bay of Bengal & Andaman Sea. |
