Synoptic Situation The upper air cyclonic circulation over Gulf of Mannar & neighbourhood now lies over south coastal Tamil Nadu and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. The trough from northeast Uttar Pradesh to Eastcentral Arabian sea across East Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra at 3.1 km above mean sea level persists. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Lakshadweep between 1.5 & 4.5 km above mean sea level.A trough runs from upper air cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Lakshadweep to northwest Arabian Sea at 0.9 km above mean sea level. . Southwest monsoon weak to moderate over Arabian sea .
