15th All India IMD Sports Meet 2024-25 at Pune

IMD has been organizing “All India IMD Annual Sports Meet” since 1998, so far fourteen All India Annual Sports Meets have been organized. The participating teams consist of one from each Regional Meteorological Centres i.e. Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, O/o IMD (at HQ) and CRS Pune office. Some of the Scientific Organizations such as MoES, Institutions/ Departments under MoES, DST, SOI, IISER and CSIR will also be a part of Sports Meet. The organization of such a National Sports meet in the past has not only helped IMD to promote Sports as an important medium for personality and leadership development but also as an important recreation facility to promote national integration and brotherhood among employees throughout the country.
The 15th All India IMD Annual Sports Meet 2024-25 will be held at Pune on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of IMD.
