About the Speaker:
Dr. K.J Ramesh, currently is a senior advisor of RIMES, Asian Institute of Technology, Pathumthani, Bangkok, Thailand, Former Director General of Meteorology and Permanent Representative of WMO (2017-19) of India. He as former member of Technical Committee of Air Quality, NCR New Delhi and Adjunct Professor in National Institute of Advanced Studies. He is specialized in Numerical Weather Prediction, weather forecasting , Hazard and Climate Risk Assessment and Early Warning, Model diagnostics, Monsoon Dynamics, Disaster Mitigation Modelling. He has published more than 50 research paper in peer reviewed journals.
