About the Speaker:

Dr. Rajeevan, Vice Chancellor of Atria University, previously served 23 years at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and as Secretary in the Ministry of Earth Sciences. With 38+ years in monsoon and climate research, he has 170+ publications, an h-index of 60, and over 17,000 citations. A Fellow of India’s three science academies and an Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics, he currently serves on the World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) Research Board. He is also a recipient of the Sir Gilbert Walker Gold Medal from the Indian Meteorological Society for lifetime achievements.
