A conclave on Science & Technology frontiers for Swarnandhra and Viksit Bharat 2047 held on 5th September 2025 at Andhra University Convention Centre, Visakhapatnam

Memorandum of Understanding Signed between India Meteorological Department and Central Water Commission A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Central Water Commission (CWC) was signed today, the 14th August 2025, by the Chairman, CWC, and the Director General of Meteorology, IMD, and officers from both organizations. This MoU aims at further streamlining the data exchange, enabling enhanced scientific and technical research in both institutions. The collaboration is a significant step forward in strengthening early warning for disaster mitigation and risk management, particularly in addressing challenges posed by the riverine floods and flash floods.
