Press Release dated 30.01.2026: Underthe influence of two Western Disturbance in quick succession, light to moderatescattered/ fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall likely over Western Himalayanregion and light to moderate isolated/scattered rainfall over adjoining plainsof northwest India and Central India during 31st January to 3rdFebruary. Thereafter, a third western disturbance is likely to affectNorthwestern India during 05th-07th February, 2026.

An intense Western Disturbance likely to cause light/moderate rainfall at many places over Western Himalayan region during 26th to 28th and with isolated heavy rainfall/snowfall on 27th January, 2026.
